Top 5 Theme Parks Apps Performance on Android in the UK, Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 theme park apps in the United Kingdom on the Android platform displayed varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

Disneyland® Paris experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 3.3K and peaking at 4.2K in mid-October before a drop and a subsequent rise to 4.2K in the last week of December. Active users also saw a similar pattern, rising from 6.6K to 7.8K in October, dipping to 4.6K in early December, and then climbing back to 7.2K by the end of the quarter.

Alton Towers Resort - Official showed a significant decrease in downloads over the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at 5.4K in late October but dropped sharply to below 1K through November and December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 5K and peaking at 7.6K in October, then declining to around 1K by the end of December.

For LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, weekly downloads saw a peak of 3.4K in late October and then dropped to below 1K for the remainder of the quarter. Active users rose from 4.5K to 6.5K in October before dipping to around 2.3K in December, with a slight uptick to 3.1K in the last week of the year.

THORPE PARK Resort – Official experienced a similar pattern, with weekly downloads peaking at 4K in late October and then dropping sharply to minimal figures by the end of the year. Active users increased from 2.2K to 4.6K in October but saw a steady decline to 248 by the last week of December.

Lastly, My Disney Experience had a peak in weekly downloads of 1.3K at the end of December, with active users showing a gradual increase from 1.8K to 2K over the quarter.
